BRITS was started by Sally Helm and Susie Pryor in the summer of 1995 to the joy of Britons and anglophiles alike in a small location on 8th Street in downtown Lawrence, KS

Since then BRITS has moved to a larger store directly on Lawrence's historic main shopping district, Massachusetts Street, and you can find us there everyday in a building newly restored by the owners of Sarah's Fabrics.
